Please note: “With the passage of the Paperwork Burden Reduction Act, there is no requirement to print 1095-C forms for tax year 2024. The forms will be made available in ESS, under Pay/Tax Information, by March 2, 2025. If you would like to receive a paper copy of your 1095-C, please send an email to County Benefits. The form will be provided to you within 30 days of your request.”

Forgot your password?

Please follow the instructions below, and if you are still unable to get into ESS after following the instructions, submit a ticket for an "Employee Self Service password change" in the ECS system.

  1. Select "Log In" in the upper right corner.
  2. Select the "Forgot your password?" link.
  3. Enter your Username and your EIN.
  4. Select "Retrieve hint."
  5. You will receive an email with your password hint. If that does not help you remember your password, click on the link in item #2 in the email to generate a new password.
  6. Select "Submit."
  7. You will receive another email that contains a temporary password.
  8. Return to the ESS main page.
  9. Select "Log In."
  10. Enter your username.
  11. Enter the temporary password in the Password field. (You may copy it from the email and paste it.)
  12. Select "Log in."
  13. You will be prompted to change your password. It must meet the criteria listed below.

All new passwords must meet the following criteria:
  • Must be at least 10 characters [may be longer]
  • Must contain at least 1 upper-case and 1 lower- case letter [may contain more]
  • Must contain at least 2 numeric characters [may contain more]
  • Must contain at least 1 special character/symbol (! @ # $, for example) [may contain more]
Passwords will expire every 180 days. You may also change your password at any time. Log into ESS and select the drop-down arrow next to your name, then select "My Account." Select "Change Password" and complete the required fields. Select "Change" when done.
